Back
Of Night and Her Gleam
And dusk had fell
the day impaled
whence shadow creatures lurked
his blade still sheathed
as thought grew deep
amidst the frozen earth
the yawning pass so bleakly loomed
Of hinting woeful peril
yet cast away the urge to flee
before the darkness-feral
For comfort's saught in twisting claws
of forests e'er murked
the darkling dwells
And so it came to pass
the journey thrust onward
the frozen desolate grasslands
neat the foot of traveler
by creature's songs in the dim of night
a hymn to the mirthful union
their coat of white of grace and might
the wolves of winter's garden
guide
led onward, drew nigh the destination
bound with the dark gelid eve - hooded amidst winterlands
of crystal caves frost caressed in the blue white reflection
of an ethereal realm,
toward the inevitable meeting, 'neath
The inclement embrace of Andalia's wrath
Borne unto the night
When the wind was her laugh
Midst whispering trees
And a frost-ridden realm
The stirring of leaves
Where our deep nexus dwelled
There trod she
As if in reflection
From the realm of dream
Wrought in rapture
And frost entwined
By the pressing chill;
Forseen the haps aligned
Misery smited and cast back
The fortitude, thus so lacked,
Yet still sought it to claim
The elation night became
'Neath the bane of winter
As the moon hath peircingly gazed
Through a starlit sky
And thee bound black
It the dead of night
Its ally darkling-kin
Caressed of silver-blue
The moonlight's hue
Empowered thee within
Like the glyphs-arcane
Of enchanted stone,
The sigil set alight
Midst thine ilk thy skin as silk,
A fair lascivious white
